Acute - CNA  FULL DESCRIPTION AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST
Assists with minor patient care duties.

Acute - LPN  FULL DESCRIPTION AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST
Participates in each phase of the nursing process in caring for patients in the Acute nursing department.  Responsible for organizing and providing direct care to the patients assigned to his/her care.

Acute - Nurse Tech FULL DESCRIPTION AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST
Assists professional staff by performing assigned duties in providing patient care within limits defined.

Acute - RN  FULL DESCRIPTION AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST
Participates in each phase of the nursing process in caring for patients in the Acute Nursing Department.  Responsible for organizing and providing direct care to the patients assigned to his/her care.  May have completed orientation to Labor and Delivery duties.

Acute - OR/Surgery ST/LPN/RN  FULL DESCRIPTION AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST
Performs as a first or second scrub nurse in the OR.  Provides backup for CSR duties, takes call to provide 24 hour coverage of the OR, functions under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.

Acute - OR/Surgery - PA/FNP/Certified 1st Assist  FULL DESCRIPTION AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST
Performs as an assistant in major or laparoscopic cases in the OR under the supervision of the Surgeon.  Must comply with HAMC Safety protocols and standards.

Activities - Therapist (CNA) FULL DESCRIPTION AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST
Develop, implement, guide, and evaluate appropriate activities according to the resident’s interests, needs, and capabilities.  Provide assistance to staff and volunteers assigned to a specific activity area.  Encourage residents to be as active within their spiritual, emotional, and physical abilities.  Completes all necessary documentation.  Maintain a safe and pleasant environment for all nursing home and swing bed residents.  

Business Office - Rep FULL DESCRIPTION AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST
Responsible for assisting in the operations of the HAMC Business Office keeping in focus the department's mission and goals.  This job deals primarily within the functions of patient accounts/insurance, admissions/reception area and communications.

Dietary - Tray Aide  FULL DESCRIPTION AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST
Responsible for the serving of foods for residents/patients meals.  Will work with a variety of diets, equipment cleaners and sanitizers.  Will perform a variety of cleaning related duties after meals.

HIS - Director FULL DESCRIPTION AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST
Responsible for planning and providing a system for acquiring, analyzing, storing and retrieving information for the HAMC so that this information can be readily available when needed to provide the highest quality of patient care possible.  Also serves as DRG/APC coordinator, medical staff recording secretary, and medical staff coordinator.  

Haaland Home - LPN FULL DESCRIPTION AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST
Performs various nursing duties as ordered by physicians, to  include distribution of meds and treatments.  Arranges for transfers of residents requiring emergency care.  Provides leadership and supervision for nurses aides/see to completion of CNA duties on assigned shift.  Assists in coordinating transfers of residents to increased care level with all personal belongings and meds, etc. sent with them.  Supervises admission, orientation of new residents.  Prepare resident charts for clinic appointments.  Carries out duties of Haaland Home clinic.  

Haaland Home - Housekeeper FULL DESCRIPTION AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST
Responsible for housekeeping in residents' rooms and public areas.

Hospice - RN Staff Position  FULL DESCRIPTION AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST
Renders skilled nursing care to patients and their family in home or place of residence within an assigned geographic area. The RN assumes an active role in the formulation and execution of the patient's plan of care as a member of the hospice interdisciplinary team under the direction of the physician, in accordance with the policies and objectives of hospice.  Also, performs related duties as assigned.  Ages of population served include neonate/infant, toddler, child, adolescent, adult and geriatrics.

Housekeeping - General Maintenance FULL DESCRIPTION AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST
Responsible for the general appearance of the floor, collection of the trash, cleaning of the vents and windows.  The employee may perform related duties as directed by the Director of Housekeeping and Laundry.

Housekeeping - Laundry Aide FULL DESCRIPTION AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST
The Laundry Aide is responsible for routine collecting, washing, drying, ironing, mending, and distributing of personal resident and patient apparel.  The Aide is to keep their laundry area free from offensive odors and keep the area neat, sanitary and safe.

Long Term Care - Bed maker FULL DESCRIPTION AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST
Removes all dirty linens etc. from the resident's rooms and makes beds leaving room orderly.  Assigned to duties by the nursing Department, supervised and reports to DON or delegated charge nurse.

Long Term Care - CNA    FULL DESCRIPTION AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST
Assists the professional staff by performing delegated duties in providing patient care within limits defined.

Long Term Care - RN

Participates in each phase of the nursing process in caring for residents on Long Term Care.  Primary responsibility is administration of wound care and admission/monthly assessments of residents.

Occupational Therapy - Speech Therapist FULL DESCRIPTION AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST
The speech therapist will provide comprehensive speech-language pathology services to GSHA inpatients, outpatients, home health patients and patients of contracting agencies.  Initially this person will be supervised by a contracted speech therapist.  This therapist will follow established plans of treatment providing services based on the treatment record of the supervising therapist.    As the associate gains experience and deems appropriate competence in treating patients in the medical setting this therapist will provide consultation, evaluation, diagnosis and the development and implementation of habilitative/rehabilitative programs for patients with communication deficits and dysphagia.  It is recognized that services provided by this department are available for persons ranging from infancy to geriatric; however, the demographics of this medical

Pharmacy - Director FULL DESCRIPTION AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST
Oversees and coordinates the activities of the Pharmacy Department in addition to the professional duties of dispensing medications to hospitalized patients.

Pharmacy - Staff Pharmacist FULL DESCRIPTION AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST
Responsible for medication distribution and control within the scope of care of GSHA.  Monitors medication utilization at all levels of care of GSHA.  Assists the Director in the efficient management of the department.  Supervises registered pharmacy technicians.  Is in charge of and responsible for the operations of the pharmacy in the absence of the Director.  Is on call as per schedule after pharmacy hours.  Assists in the maintenance of the telepharmacy program.  Assists in the training of new staff and students.  

Radiology - Radiologic Tech  FULL DESCRIPTION AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST
To perform exams in the Radiology Department, as ordered by the attending physician. This may include X-rays, CT, and/or EKG exams.  Technologist must also alternate night and weekend call with other technologists unless other arrangements have been made.
