Acute - CNA  FULL DESCRIPTION AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST Assists with minor patient care duties.

Acute - LPN  FULL DESCRIPTION AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST Participates in each phase of the nursing process in caring for patients in the Acute nursing department.  Responsible for organizing and providing direct care to the patients assigned to his/her care.

Acute - Nurse Tech FULL DESCRIPTION AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST Assists professional staff by performing assigned duties in providing patient care within limits defined.

Acute - RN  FULL DESCRIPTION AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST Participates in each phase of the nursing process in caring for patients in the Acute Nursing Department.  Responsible for organizing and providing direct care to the patients assigned to his/her care.  May have completed orientation to Labor and Delivery duties.

Acute - Ward Clerk/CNA  FULL DESCRIPTION AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST Would consider LPN.  Performs clerical duties of assigned nursing unit.  Assists with minor patient care duties.

Acute - OR/Surgery ST/LPN/RN  FULL DESCRIPTION AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST Performs as a first or second scrub nurse in the OR.  Provides backup for CSR duties, takes call to provide 24 hour coverage of the OR, functions under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.

Plant Operations - Director  FULL DESCRIPTION AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST Directs Plant Operations and Safety programs to maintain the organizations, buildings, and grounds in a safe, functional and attractive condition.  Maintains adequate staff for provision of necessary services.  Prepares annual budgets and reports as required by Administration.

Physical Therapy - Physical Therapist / PT Assist. FULL DESCRIPTION AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST Conducts medically prescribed PT programs within the hospital association and outside as assigned.  Evaluates and treats disabilities, injuries, and diseases through the use of manual therapy, exercise, and effective properties of water, heat, light, and electricity accordingly.  Provides services to contract facilities.  Assist with administrative duties as assigned by the Director of Physical Therapy

Physical Therapy - Acceleration Aide FULL DESCRIPTION AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST The primary responsibility is to the Acceleration clients, insuring the quality of their program and safety while using the facility.  May also assist with wellness clients.  May assist with sports camps.  Maintain visual and verbal contact with clients at all time.  Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly exercise environment.  Perform clerical and reception duties.

Dietary - Tray Aide  FULL DESCRIPTION AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST Responsible for the serving of foods for residents/patients meals.  Will work with a variety of diets, equipment cleaners and sanitizers.  Will perform a variety of cleaning related duties after meals.

Dietary - Dishwasher  FULL DESCRIPTION AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST Loads, operates, and cleans the dish machine and maintains sanitary condition in the dishroom area.  Works with tray aides in some serving of food duties.  Will work with various cleaners, soaps, and sanitizers with dishwashing, and cleaning.

Haaland Estates - CNA FULL DESCRIPTION AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST Viewed as a personal care aide.  In such a capacity assists resident with Activities of daily living and nursing duties.  Performs laundry, housekeeping duties and assists in the dining room on a daily basis.  The job is a multifaceted position with many elements aside from nursing.

Haaland Estates - LPN FULL DESCRIPTION AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST Performs various nursing duties as ordered by physicians, to  include distribution of meds and treatments.  Arranges for transfers of residents requiring emergency care.  Provides leadership and supervision for nurses aides/see to completion of CNA duties on assigned shift.  Assists in coordinating transfers of residents to increased care level with all personal belongings and meds, etc. sent with them.  Supervises admission, orientation of new residents.  Prepare resident charts for clinic appointments.  Carries out duties of Haaland Home clinic.

Haaland Estates - Cook/Dietary Aide  FULL DESCRIPTION AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST Responsible for the food preparation for their shift according to what is on the menu.  Also responsible for any preparation needed for the menu the following day.  Morning cook responsible to prepare Senior Meals. Responsible for cleanliness and sanitation practices during their working hours. :  Responsible for setting tables, assists with food service to residents.  Clean and sanitize tables and wash dishes. Prepares fruits and vegetables as needed according to menu.  Observe and date cleaning schedule. Refurbish staples and paper supplies to kitchen and staff dining room.

Haaland Estates - Activities Therapist  FULL DESCRIPTION AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST Develop, implement, guide, and evaluate appropriate activities according to the resident’s interests, needs, and capabilities. Provide assistance to staff and volunteers assigned to a specific activity area. Encourage residents to be as active within their spiritual, emotional, and physical abilities. Complete all necessary documentation. Maintain a safe and pleasant environment for all Basic Care residents.

Halanda Estates - Prev. Maint. Tech  FULL DESCRIPTION AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST The General Maintenance Assistant helps with all phases of Haaland Home and Assisted Living Manor equipment, maintenance, and repair.  Transportation of patients, supplies, equipment and documents.  Other areas such as security, remodeling and grounds are also a requirement of this job.  Keeping on schedule is an important part of this job

Hospice - LPN/RN  FULL DESCRIPTION AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST Renders skilled nursing care to patients and their family in home or place of residence within an assigned geographic area.

Social Services  Licensed Social Worker    FULL DESCRIPTION AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST Medical Social Worker is responsible for the distribution of services to all patients, residents, and clients regarding social service issues. He/She is responsible for compliance to all federal, state, and local laws and rules as mandated. He/She is responsible for assisting the director in maintenance for the department. Responsible for Hospice Program, along with call time as scheduled. Ages of population served are geriatrics, adults, adolescents, pediatrics, and Newborns

Occupational Therapy Speech Language Pathologist CCC   FULL DESCRIPTION AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST The speech therapist will provide comprehensive speech-language pathology services to GSHA inpatients, outpatients, home health patients and patients of contracting agencies.  Initially this person will be supervised by a contracted speech therapist.  This therapist will follow established plans of treatment providing services based on the treatment record of the supervising therapist.    As the associate gains experience and deems appropriate competence in treating patients in the medical setting this therapist will provide consultation, evaluation, diagnosis and the development and implementation of habilitative/rehabilitative programs for patients with communication deficits and and dysphagia.  It is recognized that services provided by this department are available for persons ranging from infancy to geriatric; however, the demographics of this medical setting result in a populations which largely consists of adults.

H.I.S. - Office Ass't - FULL DESCRIPTION AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST Responsible to file completed charts, assist with purging, copying of patient's records for insurance and PRO activities, retrieval of charts for studies and other activities, compiling an ER study, and assist the Discharge Clerk/Receptionist with filing patient folders when needed.  Responsible for initiating, completing, and updating the medical staff credentialing process for GSHA.

Housekeeping - Housekeeper/Laundry Aide - FULL DESCRIPTION AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST Assigned to a specific unit or floor and is responsible for maintaining that area in a prescribed manner.  Person is to keep assigned area free from offensive odors, provide a sanitary, safe area and keep patient/resident rooms clean and orderly. The Laundry Aide is responsible for collecting soiled linen from all floors and putting carts in holding room for outside laundry.  She is responsible for sorting, stocking and distributing clean linen.
