Hospital Care

Our new primary care hospital was constructed in 1991 and houses the following services:

• Emergency Services
• Intensive Care Unit
• Medical - Post Surgical Care
• Obstetrical Care
• Surgical Services
• Swing Bed Services

Our Emergency Room is a Level IV Trauma Center with all RN staff Nurse Trauma Cerified. In addition to this, all Physician staff are Advanced Trauma Life Support Certified. All this in order to provide superior quality care to our patients. Over the past year, 1987 patients were seen in our Emergency Room. There are several services on call 24 hours a day for your comfort and care. These services include: Lab, X-ray, Respiratory Therapy, Social Services, Internal Medicine, Obstetrics, Anesthesia and Surgery.

The Intensive Care Unit consists of 2 private rooms, along with private bathrooms to assure the utmost in personal care. This modern ICU has a nurses station, with central monitoring, located very close to the patient's room for maximum observation and state of the art life support and monitoring equipment in each patient room. There is a private family waiting room next to the ICU to allow close family members to stay overnight if necessary, to provide support to our pationts, and a sense of security and involvement for the family members. All RN and Physician staff are certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support.

The Medical - Post Surgical Hospital unit provides quality care to patients of all ages with varying needs to include Acute Care, Swing Bed Care, Post-partum care, Observation/Outpatient Care. It houses 18 private rooms with a private bathroom with a shower. Each patient has their own telephone and television, so there are no arguments over which channel to watch! The nurses station is centrally located for maximum observation and availability. The qualified staff, consisting of RN's, LPN's and CNA's, are eager to be at your service!
