GROWING YOUR OWN HAMC has a life-long commitment to "growing their own".
Nurse shortages are vast throughout the state of ND, therefore, the Rugby medical
center has taken a proactive approach by providing continued education to put your
education to work at a healthcare facility.
Heart of America Medical Center and Harold S. Haaland Home want to encourage young people to learn more about professions offered in a healthcare facility. We have job shadow opportunities for you.
MSU-Bottineau is planning to offer the one-year nursing (PN) program in Bottineau and Rugby along with the two-year associate degree nursing (AND) program during the 2005-2006 academic year. The PN program is preparation for the LPN license exam and the ADN program is preparation for the RN licensure exam. Students need to prepare for acceptance into the
nursing program by completing the necessary pre-requisite courses.
Pre-requisites for the PN program are as follows: Once applications are received, a screening committee reviews them and makes acceptance decisions. There are a minimum number of qualified students needed to offer the PN and ADN programs. If the target number of students is not met other options may have to be considered. For more information on nursing programs at MSU-Bottineau,
please contact Sandra Sund, Nursing Coordinator at 701 228-5449.
