HAMC Auxiliary donates ultrasound exam table

The Heart of America Medical Center Auxiliary recently purchased a new ultrasound exam table for the radiology department, using funds raised at the annual Auxiliary Salad Luncheon.

Costing a total of $2,531, the new ultrasound exam table has the ability to move vertically, a safety feature so patients do not have to climb up and on to the exam table. The old ultrasound exam table was almost 50 years old.

Anna Thorson, HAMC radiology technician, says "We are so thankful to the HAMC Auxiliary for this donation. We had a big need for it, and it's really going to provide better care for our patients."
