John Brandt, PT
Director of Physical Therapy and Wellness

John Brandt is center director and director of physical therapy at Heart of America Rehabilitation and Wellness Center. His areas of expertise include inpatient rehabilitation, outpatient orthopedic therapy, workplace safety and occupational ergonomics. He holds a master's degree in physical therapy from the University of North Dakota, Grand Forks.


Kevin Schepp, OT

Kevin Schepp, OTR/L
Director Occupational Therapy Department

Kevin Schepp provides occupational therapy in Heart of America Medical Center and contract sites throughout the region. A graduate of the University of North Dakota, Grand Forks, he enjoys providing services people of all ages. His special interest areas include hand and wrist injuries and treating pediatric clients.


Jen Brossart, PT, LATC

Jen Brossart, PT, LATC
Manager Athletic Republic Sports Acceleration Program

Jennifer Brossart oversees the center's Athletic Republic Sports Acceleration program and is responsible for training and managing staff and athletes. Her areas of expertise include sports medicine, outpatient orthopedics and inpatient rehabilitation. She holds a bachelor's degree in athletic training and a master's in physical therapy, both from the University of Mary, Bismarck, N.D.


Joshua Foss, DPT

Joshua Foss, DPT

Josh Foss holds a doctorate in physical therapy from the University of North Dakota, Grand Forks. His areas of expertise include inpatient rehabilitation, wound care and outpatient orthopedics.

Marie Fragodt, PT


Marie Fragodt, PT

Marie Fragodt's expertise includes outpatient orthopedics, inpatient rehabilitation and geriatrics. She holds a bachelors' degree in physical therapy from the University of Illinois.

Sue Hamilton


Sue Hamilton, COTA/L

A certified occupational therapy assistant, Sue Hamiltion primarily works with Heart of America Medical Center acute and swingbed patients and long term care residents. She is a graduate of North Dakota State College of Science, Wahpeton, and is certified in manual lymphatic drainage.

Kayla Johnson, PT


Kayla Johnson, PT
Coordinator for Clinical Education

Kayla Johnson's areas of interest include pediatric gross motor skill training, educationally based physical therapy services, osteoporosis management, dizziness and balance disorders, and general orthopedics. She holds a master's in physical therapy from the University of North Dakota and completed her bachelor of arts in physical therapy at College of St. Scholastica, Duluth, Minn.

Becky Kraft is experienced in inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation, orthopedics, pediatrics and home health. She holds a master's in physical therapy from the University of Mary, Bismarck.

Karissa Lautt, PTA

Karissa Lautt, PTA

Karissa Lautt graduated from the Physical Therapy Assistant program at Williston (N.D.) State College. Her areas of interest include Sports Medicine and Outpatient Orthopedics.

Sheri Martin, Occupational Therapist


Sheri Martin, MS, OTR/L

Sheri Martin sees some occupational therapy clients at Heart of America Rehabilitation & Wellness Center, but spends most of her time providing outreach services in rural schools and area healthcare facilities. A native of Pettibone, N.D., Martin has been with HAMC for seven years. She holds a master's degree in occupational therapy from the University of Mary, Bismarck, and is a certified handwriting specialist.

Alli Rognlien, Occupational Therapist


Alli Rognlien, MS, OTR/L, CLT

Alli Rognlien is an occupational therapist and certified lymphedema therapist. Her areas of practice include lymphedema/edema management, hand injuries and therapy, cognition re-training, swallow and oral motor training, and activities of daily living. She primarily works with adults. She earned a bachelor's degree and a master's in occupational therapy from the University of Mary, Bismarck. She completed coursework for certification in lymphedema/venous edema management at the University of Milwaukee.
