Physician Practice Opportunities

Heart of America Johnson Clinics, Heart of America Surgical Clinic and Heart of America Medical Center offer primary care physicians and surgeons an exceptional place to practice rural medicine.

Our staff is highly qualified and dedicated. Heart of America Medical Center is a certified Critical Access Hospital. Our technology is current and our lab and radiology departments exceed that of many facilities our size, allowing us to provide patients with MRIs, CT scans, mammograms, ultrasounds and more. Our surroundings are pleasant. And our patients value the service we provide.

Visiting physicians provide expertise in orthopedics, audiology, psychology, urology and podiatry. Our tertiary facility is Trinity Medical Center in Minot, N.D., through which we provide our patient’s referrals to specialists and critical care in Trinity Hospital, a Level 2 Trauma Center.

We participate in University of North Dakota School of Medicine programs, including family practice rotations, phase III and phase V training and physician assistant training. And we participate in student loan repayment programs.
