Hospice

iStock_000047066626_Medium.jpgHospice exists to help lift the burden of worry when you or your loved one receives a life-limiting diagnosis with a life expectancy of six months or less.

Hospice neither hastens nor postpones dying. Just as doctors and midwives lend support and expertise during the time of childbirth, Heart of America Hospice provides its presence and specialized knowledge during the dying process. Our goal is to deliver personalized, holistic care to preserve and extend the quality of our patients' lives.

Our interdisciplinary team provides ongoing medical, emotional and spiritual support for patients of all ages and their families. We provide care for individuals with terminal illnesses such as Alzheimer's, dementia, COPD, cancer, Parkinson's disease, ALS and AIDS.
