For the past 20 years the Good Samaritan Health Services Foundation has presented the Hospice Creations Auction & Dinner, a combination live and raffle auction, benefiting Heart of America Hospice. Hospice delivers personalized, holistic care to preserve and extend the quality of terminally ill patients' lives and supports those caring for loved ones. The 2019 Auction raised more than $32,000.

In 2020, the Foundation introduced the Greatest Needs Gala to address the broad needs of the Good Samaritan Hospital Association. The first cause was the Cancer Patient Care Fund, which provides Rugby-area cancer patients with financial support for expenses not covered by health insurance. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the inaugural gala became the Gala-less Gala. Thanks to generous donors the virtual gala raised $5,450.

Good Samaritan Health Services Foundation Charity Golf Classic is held each July at Rugby Golf Club. The tournament is a fundraiser for projects benefiting Heart of America Medical Center and its entities. The July 2020 tourney generated more than $20,000 for the Foundation's Give Elevator One a Lift campaign. The goal is to raise $250,000 for renovations to HAMC's main elevator by early 2021.
