This year’s Greatest Needs Gala proudly supported Heart of America Medical Center’s EMS Program and its most pressing priorities, including capital projects such as a new ambulance station, the purchase of essential equipment, and future ambulance replacement.

Thanks to incredible community support, the Gala not only met its $50,000 goal—but far exceeded it—raising over $83,600 to support these critical needs.

These investments are essential to ensuring EMS crews have safe, functional space to operate, reliable vehicles to respond to emergencies, and the tools necessary to provide high-quality care in the field. While the EMS Program operates at a financial loss, Heart of America Medical Center continues to subsidize the service to ensure emergency care remains available to our community.

This achievement was made possible through the generosity of attendees, sponsors, donors, and volunteers. From event participation and sponsorships to auction items and direct contributions, every effort played a role in the success of the evening.

The EMS Program is a heavily utilized service that our community relies on without hesitation when emergencies arise—it is never second-guessed when needed. It truly takes a community to keep a community safe, strong, and thriving, and the success of this year’s Greatest Needs Gala ensures HAMC EMS is better equipped and ready when it matters most.
